It deburrs the outside of the pipe only to allow easy assembly into fittings, and fits comfortably in one's hand for a secure grip. It creates a smooth, chamfered pipe end so solvent can be spread evenly for pipe joining. This aluminum die-cast tool features a hardened steel blade that is reversible for two cutting edges and is also sharpenable. It can be used on PVC, CPVC, and ABS.
